A simple tracking device ("modem") is installed in your vehicle or machine. The position of the device is acquired through GPS at set time intervals and the data is relayed to our server over the mobile network. We offer a range of pre-configured (?) modems in our store.

Mobile Tracking Devices For your mobile phone or hand held personal modem

Our easy-to-use software is installed onto your mobile phone. It reads the GPS position of the device every 5 seconds and stores the GPS position in memory. Then at a set time interval (usually about 2 minutes) the application will connect back to our server and relay the GPS position, the time the position was taken, the speed and the direction the device is moving in.

The mobile phone must have GPS and be able to send data to our server by the internet using GPRS or 3G. If you are unsure as to whether your device has this capability or not, contact us or your service provider.

Web Server Where the magic happens

The information relayed by the device is stored securely on our server so that at any time you log on you can see where your tracked devices are.
All the GPS positions are also stored on the server so you can at any time see where the device has been in the past, showing the current GPS positions on a map as well as showing a route of where the device has been.
